Test Ended. Series 10 was completed and in the books at 1:34 pm. 

That concludes the 2025 Derby National!

57. BEAVER CREEK RETRIEVERS SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME, “Callie,” BLF, Travis Echelberry

Callie and Travis came to the line at 1:27 pm

R (Right) -  Smack! Straight from the mat to the bird!

LF (Left Flyer) - Tumbled and then got a little off line - seems to be getting it back together as she went - came out of the water in front of the guns and got it!

55. RISING STARS KAOTIC IDEA, “Tripp,” BLM, Joe Howard

Tripp and Joe came to the line at 1:16 pm

R (Right) -  That's what I call a mark! Straight across the pond and out on a direct line to the bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Entered the pond at the correct slot - just left of the bushes - over the land bridge and splashed into the next water - landed on the far shore and leaned left to arrive at the bird. Well done!

51. CALLBACK’S BIG CHOP, “Chop,” BLM, Wade Cashion

Chop and Wade came to the line at 1:07 pm

R (Right) -  "Perfect" doesn't do it justice! Nice line through the pond and straight to his bird!

LF (Left Flyer) -  Going left of the 1st pond - took a leap off the land bridge into the water and swam across the pond - had a bit of a hunt deep and then wrapped around to scoop up his bird.

50. MARDI GRAS THIS IS HOW LEGENDS ARE MADE, “Legend,” BLF, Carol Lowe

Legend and Carol came to the line at 1:00 pm

R (Right) -  Through the pond - down the field and straight to her bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Into the right corner of the pond - around the bush and then out - down the land and in to the pond - came in to the area in front of the guns - 2 loops and Smacked it!

49. PAIRADOC’S WHO’S THE WIZARD, “Tommy,” BLM, Wayne Jensen

Tommy and Wayne came to the line at 12:49 pm

R (Right) -  Into the 1st pond - nice angle across the pond - straight to the bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Into the pond on an excellent angle - came straight out to the fall area and then the bird.

43. ARIAS GIGI, “G,” BLF, Caleb Brown

G and Caleb came to the line at 12:41 pm

R (Right) -  Swam across the first pond - gradually pulled right in the water - got out and corrected her line - came around to and got her bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Going out right of the 1st pond - took the land bridge and jumped into the 2nd pond - adjusted her line as she went - lands and climbs the hill to arrive under the arc - turned left and located her bird.

35. JC’S GOD OF THUNDER, “Thor,” BLM, Michael Cotten

Thor and Michael came to the line at 12:31 pm

R (Right) -  Thor swam the 1st pond and exited at a perfect spot! He drove to the fall area and made a couple check downs in the area and located his bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Nice line through the water and over the land bridge - good angle to finish his swim - on the far shore he made a great line to the bird!

33. WIGHT’S FEAR THE DARK, “Nyx,” BLF, Tracy Wight

Nyx and Tracy came to the line at 12:22 pm

R (Right) -  Into the pond and over the levee - out to the fall area - looped and got it!

LF (Left Flyer) -  Got into the 2nd pond on a good line to be in front of the guns - over the land and back into the water - straight to the fall area and quickly got her bird.

Pick-up 29. WBF’S PRIMA DONNA, “Prima,” CLF, Wade Cashion

Prima and Wade came to the line at 12:11 pm

LF (Left Flyer) -  Into the 1st pond - cut left and got out early - headed for the Flyer instead of the Right bird - went over land and into the 2nd pond - over the point and out on shore behind the gunners - went around the guns and hunted deep right and left - hunted across the road and then back to the correct side and worked it out.

R (Right) -  Back into the 1st pond - cut left again and headed for the Flyer a second time - got all the way behind the guns - dog was picked up.

25. LOUIE OF REDWILLOW, “Louie,” YLM, Naomi Evans

Louie and Naomi came to the line at 12:03 pm

R (Right) -  Across the pond and straight to the fall area - he got his bird!

LF (Left Flyer) - Going right of the 1st pond he catches the corner of the next pond and gets in to swim across to the point and then to the far shore - he lands and crosses in front of the gunners - makes a couple passes - drives a little deeper across the road and then returns to the fall area and recovers his bird.

21. QTK’S MINNESOTA’S HOMETOWN HERO, “Maurer,” YLM, Robbie Knutson

Maurer and Robbie came to the line at 11:55 am

R (Right) -  Along the point and into the pond. He exited and headed for the bird - just short of the gunners he turned right to check the area - back to the center and he passed the gunners and went right - deep of the gunners - back left and got the bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Around the 1st pond and he entered the 2nd pond from the corner - went over the point and drives behind the guns and came down to the fall area and recovered his bird.

17. MY STAR OF HOPE, “Stella,” BLF, Dana Hoeper

Stella and Dana came to the line at 11:46 am

R (Right) -  Into the 1st pond - out early and straight to the bird!

LF (Left Flyer) - Into the pond - swam over the large peninsula - on an excellent line to the fall area - got out and cut right - hunted back and forth deep - came in closer and she got it!

13. HYFLYER’S FOUR ON THE FLOOR, “Rev,” BLM, Wayne Curtis

Rev and Wayne came to the line at 11:38 am

R (Right) -  Swam wide right - got out and headed the wrong way - took a left behind the cedars - around the gunners - a loop just deep of the gunners and then he worked it out and got it.

LF (Left Flyer) - Into the 1st pond - over the big point - swam past the 2nd point and went on to the far shore - got out in front of the gunners for a loop or 2 before he got his bird.

Pick-up 10. PAIRADOC’S BACK IN THE GAME, “Ray,” BLM, Tracey Jensen

Ray and Tracey came to the line at 11:29 am

LF (Left Flyer) -  Through the pond on his line to the right bird - turned left to take the land bridge - continues on to the fall area of the Left Flyer bird - a tight zig zag and he got it.

R (Right) - Entered the pond slightly right of the last time - crossed over and drives the area  - goes left across the land bridge to head back to the left - handler stops him. Dog is picked up.

8. HOLYOKE’S CARBON COPY ON THE BAYOU, “Quinn,” BLF, Reid Jones

Quinn and Reid came to the line at 11:18 am

R (Right) -  Down the terrace and left of the pond - came in to the area around the pond and scooped her bird!

LF (Left Flyer) - Nice initial line that carried her into the water and across the land bridge - great line across the next water too and up to the bird!

7. OUTBACK’S ALL-OUT GLADIATOR, “Spartacus,” BLM, Robbie Knutson

Spartacus and Robbie came to the line at 11:10 am

R (Right) -  Swam across the pond on a nice angle - passed the guns on the left - had 1 circle and then under the willow for his bird.

LF (Left Flyer) - Into the near corner of the pond - out on point 1 - over and back into the water - over the point 2  - back into the pond - out on the far shore - ran to the road - came around the flyer guns to the fall area - extended hunt in the area but he never left it and he got his bird.
