58. KANNENBERG’S INDY BE STROKIN, “Indy,” BLM, Louis West
Indy and Louis came to the line at 10:05 am
LF - Came in left of the cedars and scooped it up!
R - Ran the base of the dam - angled right in front of the guns and went straight for the bird.
57. BEAVER CREEK RETRIEVERS SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME, “Callie,” BLF, Travis Echelberry
Callie and Travis came to the line at 10:01 am
LF - Callie went out to the fall area - arriving under the arc - turned left and finds her bird
R - Initial line was wide left - she corrected this about half way out to come up in front of the gunners - continued to bend right and got her bird
55. RISING STARS KAOTIC IDEA, “Tripp,” BLM, Joe Howard
Tripp and Joe came to the line at 9:55 am
LF - Right to the area - a quick loop left and he got it
R - Running the base of the dam he ended up deep and left of the gunners to establish his initial hunt - after some effort he moved right and located his bird
54. HICKORY STICK BOSTON, “Boss,” BLM, Joan Fine
Boss and Joan came to the line at 9:53 am
LF - Right of the cedars - 1 loop in front of the guns - a quick turn left and he scooped it up
R - Deep of the dam - going wide left - deep of the guns and right to the bird
51. CALLBACK’S BIG CHOP, “Chop,” BLM, Wade Cashion
Chop and Wade came to the line at 9:46 am
LF - Close right of the cedars - hunted the area - expanded hunt with each loop - but he worked it out and got it
R - Good line on the dam - went just left of the gunners - started a hunt deep and left - expanded his hunt to the right and then moved in to the bird
50. MARDI GRAS THIS IS HOW LEGENDS ARE MADE, “Legend,” BLF, Carol Lowe
Legend and Carol came to the line at 9:43 am
LF - Out left of the cedars and went straight to the bird
R - Took the base of the dam - wide left of the guns - hooked the guns and came right - straight to the bird
49. PAIRADOC’S WHO’S THE WIZARD, “Tommy,” BLM, Wayne Jensen
Tommy and Wayne came to the line at 9:39 am
LF - Can't do much better than perfect! - Straight to the bird
R - Ran right of the big cedar and drove the hill - came in around the back side of the gunners to get his bird
44. PUBLIC ENEMY’S DEEP SEA PREADATOR, “Orca,” BLM, Chad Radt
Orca and Chad came to the line at 9:35 am
LF - Nice Flyer
R - Climbed the dam a bit and then drove on to the area of the fall - nice recovery.
43. ARIAS GIGI, “G,” BLF, Caleb Brown
G and Caleb came to the line at 9:31 am
LF - Out left of the cedars and straight to her bird
R - Ran the base of the dam - very wide left and deep of the guns - 1 big loop back there and then she cut right and found her bird.
36. TITAN’S PLACE’S MNEMOSYNE, “Nemo,” BLF, Lucas Loewenhagen
Nemo and Lucas came to the line at 9:28 am
LF - Nemo entered the fall area under the arc of the bird - a quick left at the cedars and he was headed back with his bird.
R - His line took him deep behind the gunners where he set up a large area hunt before working his way right to grab his bird.
35. JC’S GOD OF THUNDER, “Thor,” BLM, Michael Cotten
Thor and Michael came to the line at 9:23 am
LF - Nice line out - initial hunt was in the fall area of the previous shot but he worked it out and moved left to locate the bird
R - Very nice line to the bird - he held the line while traveling the steep incline of the dam and went straight to the bird
33. WIGHT’S FEAR THE DARK, “Nyx,” BLF, Tracy Wight
Nyx and Tracy came to the line at 9:20 am
LF - Out to the area - quick work and got it
R - Out to the area and got her bird for a nice job!
30. PARDO’S RISE TO THE OCCASION, “Rizor,” BLM, Dan Partington
Rizor and Dan came to the line at 9:16 am
LF - Cut close right of the cedars - SMACK!
R - Along the base of the dam - wide left of the guns - started a hunt wide left - saw the gunners and moved right - across the field and to the bird.
29. WBF’S PRIMA DONNA, “Prima,” CLF, Wade Cashion
Prima and Wade came to the line at 9:12 am
LF - Straight to the fall area - missed - 1 turn left and then back for her bird
R - Along the base of the dam - turned right at the end - in front of the guns and straight to the bird
25. LOUIE OF REDWILLOW, “Louie,” YLM, Naomi Evans
Louie and Naomi came to the line at 9:05 am
LF - Out to the area and located his bird
R - Naomi gave him a moment to settle in and focus on this mark - he went out down the hill to the left of the cedars - drove the hill and then the dam to find his bird
Pick-up 24. CALUMET’S SUPER GOOMBA, “Goomba,” BLM, Sharon Gierman
Goomba and Sharon came to the line at 8:57 am
LF - Out like a rocket! Goomba went down the hill and grabbed his pheasant
R - Dog was picked up on this mark
RERUN 11. ZIPLINE’S TECHNICAL KNOX OUT, “Knox,” BLM, Joe Howard
Knox and Joe came back to the line at 8:55 am for their rerun
LF - Out left of the cedars - stepped on it!
R - Ran the base of the dam - left of the guns and then got behind them and deep - went right and located his bird
21. QTK’S MINNESOTA’S HOMETOWN HERO, “Maurer,” YLM, Robbie Knutson
Maurer and Robbie came to the line at 8:49 am
LF - Started early and he was called back - Sent and went right of the cedars out in front of the guns and then back to the bird.
R - Ran the base of the dam - angled up and straight to the bird.
