L - Zoomed out to the fall area - turned at the end and swung in to scoop up her bird!

Harp and Jordan came to the line at 9:50 am
L - Stayed on the left side of the road - hunted deep and left of the fall - back and forth left and right a few times - got it!
R - Took a line out towards the gunners - came in behind the guns - hooked and turned right - straight down the hill and to the bird.

L - Straight towards the guns - hunted left of the road for an extended hunt - went out of sight for a while - then came back - crossed the road and got her bird
R - Crossed the field and the road - left of the bush - hunted deep of the guns away from the bird - moved to the side of the road with the bird - back up the hill and she got it!

5th Series Test Description
5th Series – Land Double
For the 5th Series, we are at Stair-Step Ponds. The mat for this test sits on top of a hill facing South. The terrain is a terraced hill dropping to the right with ponds at the base.
Bird # 1 is a Drake thrown left to right landing approximately 280 yards from the mat. These throwers shoot and throw down hill or to the handlers right. There is a bush in the field that is short of the throwers, about midway under the arc. (We will refer to this mark as R for Right)
Bird # 2 is also a Drake that is located to the left of the mat. These gunners are left of the road that goes around the rim. They stand, then shoot and throw the Drake across the road left to right. This bird land approximately 170 yards from the mat . (We will refer to this mark as L for Left Flyer)
This test is taking approximately 3 minutes per dog to complete.
Good Morning - Day 3
Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to the 3rd Day of the National Derby Championship!
This morning we are kicking off 5th series. Our test dogs just ran the test and we will begin with our first running dog momentarily.
The morning has started out with mostly clear skies and rather chilly temps around 45 degrees. Today the high temps are expected to be around 75, lots of sunshine and little to no winds. Any changing conditions will be reported as the day goes on!
For now, stay tuned as we begin the 5th Series of the National Derby!
45 Dogs were called back to the 5th series and we are starting with dog #37
