RF - Up the levee and across the pond - up the hill and had a few loops - got it
L - Across the field and the road to pond 1 - angled towards the flyer guns - ran back to the flyer area and dog was picked up
Conditions Report
The lighting continues to be the same as when the day started - muted by a solid layer of cloud cover. Rains have passed now and a northern breeze picked up. The temperature is hovering around 59 but it feels a bit raw with dampness in the air. The clouds promise to pass by afternoon, but the wind will continue out of the north.

Prima and Wade came to the line at 11:46 am
RF - To the 1st pond and she bent right for a couple passes along the tree line - came out and dropped into the fall area and located her bird
L - Through the 1st pond and up the dame and into the 2nd pond - beautiful exit from the 2nd water to drive the hill to the bird.

Moxie and Holden came to the line at 11:38 am
RF - Straight to the pond - crossed it and drove up the hill to the right of the bird location - hunted up and down and then wide - very extended hunt but she got it
L - Went out on a good line but then came back to the flyer

Jim and David came to the line at 11:30 am
RF - Across the field and the road - up the levee and turned hard right - caught the end of the pond - drove the hillside to the bird
L - Out across the field - road and 1st pond - up the levee and into the right corner of the 2nd pond - around and deep of the gunners and then out to the bird.
26. DICKEN’S FLAWLESS TIKTOK QUEEN, “Livvy,” BLF, Jordan Baker
Livvy and Jordan came to the line at 11:21 am
RF - Nice line through the pond - out and checked the tree line - back to the area of the fall sweeping back to the tree line - the hunt loops her back to the fall again and she came up with her bird!
L - Through the first pond and she pulled right as she exited the water - drove on to hunt the tree line deep and right of the gunners - her hunt pattern expanded to bring her down and into the fall area and in for her bird.

Louie and Naomi came to the line at 11:14 am
RF - Nice big water entry! And good line to his bird.
L - Good initial line to the 1st pond - up the dam and around the 2nd pond - around the shore and to the bird.

Goomba and Sharon came to the line at 11:10 am
RF - Across the field and road - got to the pond and ran around it - straight out to his bird.
L - Down and across the road - into the 1st pond - up the hill to the right avoiding the 2nd pond - curved in front of of the guns and went directly for his bird.

Crockett and Julie came to the line at 11:03 am
RF - Across the field and road - through the pond and straight to the bird
L - Took off wide left and went around all the water and over the crest of the hill - out of sight for a while - back into the field in the top right corner in the trees - worked his way down to the bird.

Maurer and Robbie came to the line at 10:58 am
RF - Made quick work of his flyer!
L - Going out left of the cedars - crossed the road and bended back to the right to correct his line through both ponds - drives to the far shore and located his bird.

Stella and Charlie came to the line at 10:49 am
RF - Driving over the area of the fall and moving along the tree line - keeping a tight hunt pattern - and she located her bird.
L - Stella went through the 1st pond, but went right of the 2nd pond and pushed her to the tree line - right and deep of the bird. She expanded her hunt to come into the fall area and her bird.

Roxy and Wayne came to the line at 10:42 am
RF - Crossed the field - the road - a sharp right at the pond - hunted left and right on the far side moving away from the bird - started working back down and she got it.
L - Across the field - road and pond 1 - out with a lean to the right and got deep of the guns where she started her hunt - worked down and left and located her bird.

Harp and Jordan came to the line at 10:36 am
RF - Down the field - across the road and through the pond - a short hunt in the fall area and he got it
L - Across the field - the road - pond 1 and then pond 2 - climbed the hill and curved left and got his bird.

Stella and Dana came to the line at 10:20 am
RF - Nice line through the pond to the area - a quick zig zag and she located her bird
L - Stella goes left of the ponds but recovers her line and gets to her mark.

Cab and Marc came to the line at 10:24 am
RF - Cab catches the right of the pond - he begins a hunt pattern that loops back down to the pond's shore area but he recovers to drive the hill and locates his bird.
L - He is locked in on the next bird! He drives the first pond and goes right of the second water to establish a hunt along the tree line - into the area of the fall and he has his bird.

RF - Out across the field - the road and then pond 1 - angled up the hill and turned to the fall area - got it pretty quickly
L - Crossed the field and the road - then the pond - climbed the levee and drove right - deep of the guns to the far area of trees where she established a hunt - worked down the hill towards the guns and then got her bird

Pitch and Ronald came to the line at 10:05 am
RF - Across the field and road - across the pond and out wide right for a short throw - close to the guns - he hunted left and right and worked it out
L - Good line through the 1st water - up the levee and into the 2nd pond - curved left and went straight to his bird.

The move to the 4th Series was executed in only 23 minutes! Great work this week on gun changes and rebirds, traffic and grounds and moving us all to the next test site each time! Excellent time management!

4th Series Test Description
4th Series – Land and Water Double with a Drake Flyer
For the 4th Series, we are at Derby Field. The mat faces East on this test.
Bird # 1 is a dead Drake thrown and shot landing about 290 yards from the line. The dog will go out and across a gravel road and then head up the far side hill. Next they will go through the 1st pond and up a steep levee, and then through a 2nd pond to retrieve the bird, which falls behind a large clump of bushes. (We will refer to this mark as L for Left)
Bird # 2 is a Drake Flyer. The gunners throw and then shoot the drake landing about 190 yards from the line. The gunners are in front of a large group of cedars on the edge of a pond that stretches both left and right. The dog will cross the field and then the road, climb a steep levee - swim a narrow pond and then climb a steep hill to locate this bird. (We will refer to this mark as RF for Right Flyer)
This test is taking approximately 9 minutes per dog to complete.
